The 2026 National Truck Driving & Step Van Driving Championships will bring together the nation’s safest and most skilled professional drivers for an unforgettable week of competition, camaraderie, and celebration in Pittsburgh. After months of state-level contests, finalists converge to showcase their precision, safety knowledge, and professionalism.

Across multiple vehicle classes, drivers face a written examination, a meticulous pre-trip inspection, and a challenging skills course designed to test accuracy under pressure. Honors are awarded for First, Second, and Third Place in each class, as well as the Professional Excellence Award, the Vehicle Condition Award, and the Rookie of the Year—culminating in the prestigious Grand Champion title.
