Become an #NTDC26 Volunteer
More than 150 volunteers are needed each year to make NTDC and NSVDC a success. Volunteering is a great way to support trucking safety, expand your network, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the event. Key volunteer roles include:
- Course Judge
- Course Timekeeper
- Pre-Trip Inspection Judge
- Den Mother
- Scoring Record and Scoring Display Operator
- Souvenir Stand
- Equipment Handler and Equipment Support
Company Requirements
ATA cannot accept volunteers from the following companies. If you are an employee of one of the following companies, please contact your company NTDC representative.
ABF Freight
FedEx
FedEx Freight
Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc.
Walmart Transportation
XPO
A few things to note:
- Mandatory Judges’ briefings will take place on Tuesday, August 11 and finals will take place on Friday, August 14. Beyond Den Mothers and a few select timekeepers, volunteer responsibilities will conclude on Thursday, August 13.
- Lunches sponsored by Old Dominion Freight Line and XPO will be provided for judges during competition days – Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13.
- Like last year, ATA will not sell award banquet tickets onsite. All Awards Banquet Tickets must be pre-purchased online before July 24, 2026.
